Varsity Petite & Mini Team Coach

Mazie has been dancing since she was 2 and has trained in Jazz, Contemporary/lyrical, hip hop, ballet, character and tap. She competed several solos throughout her dancing career and became a 7 time regional champion and a 3 time national champion. She attended Cyprus High School where was on the drill team, dance company and cheer squad all while still dancing competitively at her studio. In high school she she took classes from Dennis Caspary, Twitch, Allison Holker, Kent Boyd and many other big names in the dance industry.

After graduating, Mazie joined the Salt Lake Community College dance company where she trained in modern, broadway/musical theater and African dancing. She then went on to becoming an Odyssey 2 company member where she performed with Odyssey’s production of Thriller and Redux Nutcracker and continued training under Eldon Johnson, Chase Wise, Jeffrey Louizia, Dayna Marshal and Audrey Parker. She continues to take classes at Millennium SLC to keep up with dance and continue to learn. As much as Mazie loved dancing, she loves teaching even more!
