Jazz - Turns & Leaps
Ms. Craig has been dancing for over 20 years. She grew up in South Jordan, Utah and was privileged enough to train as a classical ballerina and later, train in all styles of dance at several different studios around the state. As a young dancer, Ms. Craig was able to perform in principal and supporting roles with Ballet West, Odyssey, Mountain West Ballet and Intermountain Ballet Theater. Ms. Craig served as Vice President of the Bingham High School Minerette's Drill Team where her team took home several State and National titles.
Ms. Craig majored in Dance Performance at Brigham Young University, where she performed a season with BYU’s Ballet Showcase Company. Ms. Craig danced professionally for the Utah Jazz as an America First Jazz Dancer where she had the opportunity to travel to India to dance on a live television show, Extra Innings T20. Ms Craig takes her role as a dance teacher and high school drill team coach very seriously as she knows the impact she can have on the lives of her students.
Along with her dance experience, Ms. Craig served as Miss South Jordan where she had the opportunity to compete for the title of Miss Utah. As Miss South Jordan, she worked closely with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in efforts to find a cure for CF and was given the opportunity to collaborate with South Jordan city as a volunteer and made appearances throughout the state of Utah.
