Tanji

Classical Ballet - Jazz

Tanji has had extensive dance training in ballet, jazz, and tap. As a dancer, Tanji has performed leading roles in many ballets including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, etc. In Highschool she participated for 3 years as a member of her high school dance company, being in the presidency her senior year, as well as a Varsity Songleader, leading them, as captain, to win Nationals. She was chosen as All-Star Songleader for Utah State University. She was also chosen to be the Dance Sterling Scholar for Cottonwood High School.

Tanji has been teaching ballet, jazz and tap since 1995, to children from the ages of 3 through 18, as well as adult classes. Tanji began judging various dance competitions in 1999 and continues to do so. She currently serves as a guest teacher, and choreographer for dance camps, private studios and high schools throughout the Salt Lake Valley, as well as Utah County. Her love and passion for dance continues through her teaching.

Education and Professional Experience:

• Received full ride dance scholarship to Dixie State College
