Tasha

STARS Jazz Director

Tashahas had over 16 years of dance training in ballet, tap, hip hop and jazz. Growing up she was involved in cheerleading, dance company and theatre. Tasha has played leading roles in The Sound of Music (Liesl von Trapp) and Bye Bye Birdie (Kim MacAfee). She has also choreographed for several Community and Jr. High School theatre productions.

Tasha's love for dance is also followed by a passion for music and singing. For 7 years Tasha toured the world with a singing/dancing performing group. Some of her favorite places visited were England, Japan and Mexico. Tasha is very excited to be a part of UDA this year.

Education and Professional Experience:

• Dance and Music Education at Utah Valley University
• Extensive dance training in ballet, tap and jazz.

• Performed as a dancer and singer throughout England, Japan and Mexico
