Amber Blackburn

Preschool Teacher

Miss Amber’s love for teaching young children of all abilities and backgrounds is apparent. Her desire to create an environment where each child will blossom is evident in the countless extra hours she spends perfecting lesson plans, attending to the needs of individual children and counseling with fellow teachers.

Amber graduated from Utah State University where she received a degree in Early Childhood Education and a separate degree in Special Education. While attending Utah State, she spent a semester in Russia teaching young children English and a summer in Mexico taking ESL courses. After graduation, Amber taught kindergarten for 5 years before switching to preschool.
