Hip Hop

Maria is a passionate and driven dancer with years of versatile training and performance experience in hip hop, jazz funk, contemporary, krump, reggaeton, and lyrical. Known for her emotional depth and dynamic stage presence, Maria brings authenticity, grit, and heart to every class and choreography.

She is currently dancing with Boom Crew in Salt Lake City, performing at high-profile events such as World of Dance, Red Bull Dance Your Style, Junction Dance Company’s Hallows Eve, and community-based projects including a promo video for Press Play choreographed by Randi Kemper and Hefa Tuita. Most recently, she performed at Stadium of Fire, one of the nation’s largest patriotic celebrations. Maria’s roots in ballet, jazz, and contemporary give her a strong technical foundation, while her recent training at Millennium Dance Complex and The Vibe Dance Studio reflects her ongoing commitment to growth and industry relevance.

As a teacher, Maria is dedicated to creating a positive, high-energy learning environment where students feel empowered to push their limits, grow in confidence, and find their own voice through movement. She has taught at Lone Peak Dance Studio and choreographed for school teams and university performances, including BYU's Black History Month showcase and Hillcrest High School's Dance Company.

Graduated and trained in experience design, Maria combines creative storytelling with a structured, student-centered approach—making her classes both challenging and inspiring.
